Louis DiRienzo Jr. served as football special teams quality control at Rutgers University from April 2019-February 2020 and outside linebackers coach at Wagner College from April 2018-April 2019.

Prior to his time with Wagner College, DiRienzo spent two years as a graduate assistant at Springfield College, where he served as co-special teams coordinator and outside linebackers coach in 2017 after coaching the Pride defensive backs in 2016. His work with the 2017 Springfield squad helped the Pride win the inaugural New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference Championship as the team earned a 10-0 undefeated regular season regular and reached the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament for the first time since 2006.
