At Springfield College Department of Social Work, we are guided by the Humanics mission of educating students in spirit, mind, and body for leadership in service to others. Our social work graduates take this mission and implement it into their practice, developing a holistic approach to social work through the advanced general practice curriculum.

Social work and legal issues intersect in the private and public domains. In conjunction with the Western New England University School of Law, the Springfield College School of Social Work and Behavioral Sciences has developed a dual master of social work/juris doctor (MSW/JD) degree program that provides students with the opportunity to complete both degrees within four, rather than five years if the degrees were pursued separately.

This program requires full-time study.
